Why I workout everyday

For over 2 years, I’ve been keeping a small piece of paper in my room.

This piece of paper has “Workout Streaks” written on it.

Everyday, after I workout, I add a small stick into that piece of paper.

If I skip a workout, even if It’s just one day. I throw that paper away, take a different one and start all over again.

This only happened the first time. After I threw that paper away, which had about 20 ‘workouts’ in there I realized the effort that took and I promised myself that wouldn’t happen again.

And until that day, I’ve used several other pieces of paper but…. Just because the first one was full. 783 days straight as of today. And probably more as you are reading this.

But why am I doing this?

Well, as I always say, when you reach a certain point. Working out gets easier and less painful than missing a workout so it’s not that hard.

And as everyone knows, being fit and having a healthy life, takes time and especially perseverance.

For me, the easiest way to achieve this, is if I don’t slow down. Then it’s one less thing to worry about.

That’s the reason why I workout everyday and how I do it.
